Hi friends and family,
Just a quick update. I had my sixth chemo last Friday. This Friday, the 13th, I will have a P.E.T. scan. This involves a radioactive-sugar injection so I am isolated after the injection and am suppose to stay away from children and pregnant women 6 hours after the scan.
I will get the results on the following Wed. (July18) at my oncology appointment. I will find out then if I will have more chemo. I am prepared for more as I know it would not be uncommon to have more that 6 rounds.
My blood counts,especially the white counts, have been low so I am feeling the fatique but I'm doing pretty well. Food is starting to taste pretty mettalic, but I can find things to eat still better than my previous chemo.
Thank you so much for your encouragement and especially your prayers. They give me strength, I'll keep you posted.
