It has been a great summer, the kids stayed with me following Debbie's passing and as they looked forward to the new opportunities tha awaits them, they finally were able to move into their dream home in Augusta, KS.  The football season is in full swing and Jason is excited about the challenges that lay ahead as he shapes and encourages a wonderful group of young men in the game of football and how to be part of a team that encourages excellence on and off the field.

Miranda is teaching music again this year and is excited to get back to teaching.  She is only working part time so Elias will still have some quality time with mommy.  Asher is a kindergardener this year and is so excited.  They moved into their new home on August 15th, started school on the 18th and hosted an open house on the 22nd.  That just amazes me...and the house looked great.  Here are some other pictures of the house.  More news later...

Miranda and the boys spent the weekend with us during the State Wrestling tournament.  It was a fun weekend together.  Debbie went home with them and is spending the week there helping Miranda get the house ready to sell as they prepare to move to Augusta, KS where Jason will be the head football coach at Augusta High School in the fall.  He is very excited.

We got to spend the weekend with the kids and I captured this little clip of Elias with grandpa.

He is so cute and funny. 

Jason, Miranda and Asher spent a weekend at a Christian Youth conference in Branson over the weekend.  Elias was too young to go so we got to spend the weekend with him.  We had a great time watching him play and navigate his world. 
He is a happy boy, full of laughs and hugs.   We really enjoyed our time together.
Oh, we noticed that he likes to wear Ashers shoes on his hands...
